The beloved holiday ballet returns to the Winter Garden! Experience three ticketed performances of The Nutcracker by New York Theatre Ballet. Set to Tchaikovsky’s cherished score in Art Nouveau-style circa 1907, the timeless classic features innovative choreography by long-time New York Theatre Ballet choreographer, Keith Michael.
Advance registration for complimentary tickets via Eventbrite will open on Wednesday, November 4 at 10:00 AM. Once all tickets have been claimed, then capacity permitting, walk-ons will be accommodated onsite on a first-come, first-served basis.

New York Theatre Ballet’s mission is to perform small classic masterpieces and new contemporary works for adults and innovative hour-long ballets for young children, all at affordable prices. The mission is carried out in the work of the Professional Company, its Ballet School NY and its LIFT Community Service Program. NYTB tours family and adult programs both nationally and abroad. Its audiences know the Company for its theatrical expressiveness, high production quality, and intimate accessibility to every audience member. The Nutcracker is a beloved part of the Brookfield Place holiday season.
What to Know
Important Information:
- As a reminder, advanced registration for free tickets is required to attend the performances.
- All ticketed seating (including ADA) is first-come, first-served, while space is available. Once capacity is reached, the seating area will be closed.
- GET THERE EARLY, according to the schedule below. Please note that you must check in within the required time frame with your full party. Partial parties will not be admitted.
- You must check in with your full party. Partial parties will not be admitted.
- Capacity permitting, walk-ons may be accommodated on a first-come, first-admitted basis.
- Pets are not allowed besides service animals.
Seating
- Ticketed seating is first-come, first-admitted with advanced registration, while space is available.
- Attendees will not be admitted to their seats until check-in has opened.
- Attendees will either be seated in provided chairs or on the Winter Garden stairs. A ticket does not guarantee a chair.
- ADA seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis. ADA seating will not be released to guests without ADA needs. If you need ADA seating, let someone know at Check In.
- Stroller parking will be available.

1:00PM Performances
- Check in is located at 230 Vesey Street between Theory and Warby Parker.
- 12:00 PM: Check in opens for pre-registered guests with tickets.
- 12:30 PM: Pre-registered guests with tickets must check in by 12:30 PM to guarantee a seat. At that time, walk-ins will be accommodated alongside pre-registered guests, if space is still available.
- The seating area will be closed once capacity is reached.
7:00PM Performances
